Conditioner
Conditioner- used at the beginning of the week prior to the race weekend. This prep resets the tire and keeps the oils in the tire. Ultimately preparing the tire to later accept bite and other aggressive preps.
Additionally, we use conditioner to "ready" the tire evenly. Have you ever gotten an uneven Duro across the tire of course you have. By using conditioner, it will remove or clean up the previous work done to the tire from the external surface. Some racers do not use conditioner. It appears they just don't know. It may work for them because they are using the same process or preps week in and week out at the same track or dirt type. If you race multiple tracks and multiple surfaces we at Firewater recommend conditioner at the beginning of the week followed by bite, dragon's blood, or dragon's blood or whatever your conditions may be. This provides you with a "clean slate" to control your program with better results.
Check out our TIRE WASH product for some deep cleaning after a weekend of racing. Great for grinding tires as well.
